About City

Indore is a 400 year old city located on Malwa Plateau in the state of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.), almost in the centre of India. It is known as the commercial capital of M.P. and is also the largest education, fashion and medical centre in the state. About 50000 students come to Indore form surrounding towns and villages, other parts of India, as well as other countries to complete their education. The city has a rich heritage of Art and culture.

Rainfall: Average annual rainfall from southwest monsoon is 30 to 35 inches during July - September.

Food: Other than local food, all national and international cuisines are available. National and international brand names like Pizza Hut, Mc Donalds, Barista and Café Coffee Day have their outlets.

Shopping: There are a large number of malls housing national and international brand names.

Entertainment: There are a number of multiplexes running Hindi and English Movies. There are also theatres where Dance, Drama and Music events take place around the year.

Transportation: In the addition to the public transport of city buses and three wheelers, there is a high density of four wheeler and two wheeler owner driven vehicles. Daily train service is available for going to any corner of the country. With morning and evening and flights for Mumbai and Delhi, the city is connected to every part of the world.
